As this day falls on Sunday, Gurukulam School in Agalar, Ooty, conducted a special yoga presentation on Friday.

“Yoga is a regular co-curricular activity in our school.  However, to mark the international yoga day, our Yoga teacher Nirmala conducted this special programme to further sensitise our students and parents on the importance of yoga in contributing for healthy body and mental concentration”, school Correspondent N Arjjunan said..

  1. While the Yoga Day as 21st June being announced internationally, we at the Gateway Hotel, Coonoor have been conducting this activity even prior to the same daily between 16:00 hrs and 17:00 hrs conducted by Guruji Vinod. There is an exclusive Yoga room in the hotel vicinity, we strongly believe that as part of the core brand standards fitness, flexibility and freedom, Yoga will aptly fit into the fitness category. This is being provided free of cost to our guests and whosoever it free at that time can walk into the Yoga room and be part of the days sessions. It is an on going process at the Gateway Hotel, Church Road, Coonoor.
